FAQs

This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:

What are your rates?

Rates for services vary by provider from $100-$125/session.

Do you take insurance?

We take Tricare Insurance at the Riverside Location.

We accept HSA/FSA cards and can provide documentation for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement if you have an out of network mental/behavioral health benefit.

Do you offer a sliding scale fee?

Yes. Our graduate student counseling intern offers a reduced rate of $20/session while working toward licensure under the supervision of one of our licensed therapists.

How long are the therapy sessions?

Sessions are 45-50minutes.

Do you offer Telehealth?

Yes. We offer telehealth for grown up sessions, and for child sessions when clinically appropriate.

What should I say to my child about play therapy:

“Sometimes it is helpful for children to have a special place to play.”

Are you seeing clients in the office/playroom during the pandemic?

Yes. We are currently offering an in-person option with safety precautions based on local, state, and federal guidelines to protect the health and safety of our clients and therapists.

What is your office doing to protect clients from coronavirus?

We have taken the following precautions:

  • We have closed our waiting rooms, and are asking all clients to wait in their cars or outside until the therapist comes out to greet them.
  • Office seating in the therapy rooms has been arranged for appropriate physical distancing.
  • The therapists make every effort to maintain safe social distancing.
  • Restroom soap dispensers are maintained and everyone is encouraged to wash their hands.
  • Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol is available in the therapy rooms.
  • Any toys used will be set aside and sanitized before returning to the playroom.
  • Appointments are scheduled at specific intervals to allow time for adequate sanitation between clients.
  • Credit card pads, pens and other areas that are commonly touched are thoroughly sanitized after each use.
  • Physical contact is not permitted.
  • Tissues and trash bins are easily accessed. Trash is disposed of on a frequent basis.
  • Common areas are thoroughly disinfected at the end of each day.
  • Masks are required in all common areas and when social distancing cannot be maintained.
