Erica Mitchell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, dedicated to supporting young children and families through compassionate, evidence-based therapy. Erica earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Gender Studies from the University of North Florida. She continued her education at Florida State University, where she obtained a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. Additionally, Erica holds a Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy from Stetson University and is a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor™

With extensive training in Play Therapy, Erica is also certified in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and Circle of Security Parenting. She has collaborated with Early Childhood Courts to support some of the most vulnerable populations, including children ages 0–5 and their caregivers involved in child welfare and dependency systems.

While Erica specializes in Play Therapy for children as young as 3, she also works with children under 3 using Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). This approach focuses on strengthening the relationship between a child and their caregiver to restore cognitive, behavioral, and social functioning.
